Why is Depression so Prevalent in our Society?
Dr. Benjamin
Has depression always been part of the human condition? or is a part of our cultural phenomena? This answer is most fascinating because it integrated the topics of prosperity, fulfillment, sustenance and happiness into a clear perspective that is overlooked by most people in this day and age. Purgatory, does it exist?
Sometimes people come to circle to ask about loved ones who have passed over. Sometimes they are available for questioning, and sometimes they are not. Here we learn that after death there is period of rest, review and reawakening. After we transition we carry a “filter” of our perceptions and beliefs from that incarnation. Depending on many factors about our self and the nature of an incarnation, it may take some “time” for these perceptions, attitudes and beliefs to dissipate before we can gain the full recognition of who we truly are as a Divine and Unlimited Being united with God. (5:08)
The Nature of Transition with Suicide.
Roncar explains that the state of mind you have at the time of transition is the state of mind you take with you when you “arrive” on the other side. This is part of the “filter” that comes with us as explained in the previous segment. Suicide is not a way out of any problems that we deal with in life. In fact it only complicates the souls return to the Light and will cause the soul to remain in that state of “Purgatory” much longer. (2:50)
Questioins about Friends, Family and Reincarnation.
If your friend or family member dies before you, what is the likelihood that they will still be there in the spirit world when you make your transition? Will they reincarnate while you are still present on the earth? What is the death of a loved one happens while they are just young children? Roncar provides answers to these questions and more with this fascinating segment. (6:26)

Know Your Eternal Self:
In this segment Roncar brings a refreshing clarity to the practice and purpose of meditation that is both inspired and motivating. He delves into the ancient eternal nature and creation of each individual Soul, as it is part of God, and our ability to understand our likeness to God via the universal law, “As above, so below.” In meditation we have the ability to know the fullness of our eternal being with all of the knowledge and wisdom of the higher self. (17:22)
Transcending Limitations of the Physical:
The physical world can be both our friend and foe in the creation of our ideal world. In one sense we are limited by physical constraints. On the other hand it is only in the physical that we can demonstrate our Divine nature through our creations. The paradox is that when you consider the physical world of paramount importance, you become mired down within its limitations. When you are detached with the knowledge that everything is perfect as it is, then it is easy to transcend into the creative manipulator that perceives, enjoys and creates the great success and satisfaction to be found in your life. (11:50)
Incarnation, A Personal Choice:
Have you ever wondered why you incarnate over and over again? Many believe that incarnation in the physical world is suffering and that our goal is to balance our Karma so that we do not have to return to this plain if existence. Roncar explains the process and the reasons by which we choose to incarnate. This is a fascinating explanation that you may not yet have considered. (7:08)

The Metaphysics of Meditation:
Roncar explains how the harnessing of the mind into a single source of attention allows one to receive clarity and inspiration from the Divine self. The knowledge of the self as Divine is a form of self-empowerment. You are directly connected to the source of all wisdom and with the ability to center oneself in any situation at any time, not only can you maintain a state of peace, but also you are open to receive the clarity and inspiration for the best course of action in your life. (7:58)
Knowledge, Understanding, the Akashic Records, and the Internet:
Here is a description of the Divine Internet. Imagine that God is the file server and each spirit is like a workstation. Each spirit can share knowledge and understanding like we share information on our networks. In addition All knowledge is available from a file server we refer to as the Akashic Records. (As above, so below.) Roncar also explains how he utilizes the Medium to communicate with us as a point in time in the Akashic Records. (7:19)
Roncar’s History at Circle:
Roncar explains how the Medium developed her skills, awareness and understanding so that she would be able to channel a master spirit such as Roncar. (4:50)
On Angels:
Roncar distinguishes between what many refer to as “angels” and the Angels which are forces that God used in the manifestation of his creation. They are quite different. (2:24)
Achievement and Enjoyment:
Which is more important, Achievement or Enjoyment? Roncar explains both. Enjoyment is the realization of the fulfillment of your desire and necessary in the accomplishment of the goal. (4:12)

The Addictive Nature of Peace:
In honor of the worldwide meditation for peace of the day of this address (7-17-07), Roncar explains once again the nature of our own peace upon others and the rest of the world. He emphasizes why meditation is so important both for our mental health and physical health. It is the tool by which we create the vibration of peace in our life, and it is this vibration which is broadcast throughout the world. He maintains that when people who are not normally peaceful in their lives experience true Peace even for a brief moment, they are reminded of that experience again and again. It is just like eating a favorite food or a sweet desert. Once it is tasted, a craving for more begins, and thus eventually that vibration will come home to manifest as Peace in that person’s life, because it is desired and will be focused upon. Once again, it is our ability to dwell in the consciousness of Peace that will spread true Peace through this world. (11:59)
Dealing with Loss of a Loved One and Reasons for Incarnation:
When some one close to us dies, it is the nature of the relationship that changes. It is not the end to a relationship. Roncar also reviews the reasons for incarnation. A new twist is that one of the reasons we come into this world is to experience an aspect of Love that we cannot experience in Spirit. Since it is only in the physical that we can emulate our divine nature of God by being a creator, in the physical we can also experience the creative nature of Love. (10:04)
Complete Surrender to God?
In this question Roncar addresses the questions of “Surrender” and the “Will Of God.” When you can transform an obstacle into a challenge and a challenge into an opportunity; when you see that all that is, is perfect, then you have surrendered to the Will of God. (6:57)

Surround Yourself with White Light:
Roncar explains the benefits of surrounding yourself with the White Light of God on a daily basis. In addition to inviting healing energies into you life, it also serves as a blanket of protection that can prevent unwanted forces, vibrations or situations from entering into your life. (11:30)
Dealing with Unwanted Vibrations:
Occasionally we will pick up stray vibrations because we are unconscious of them. Roncar discusses how to identify “vibrations” that are not yours and how to deal with getting rid of them. (6:06)

Active Peace for the Peace Activist:
This segment is rich with many metaphysical principals that are simply and eloquently addressed. Within it, Roncar reviews the many ways in which we control and influence our own world and how our thoughts and actions directly affect the rest of the world. While he does not mention the term “Peace Activist” anywhere in this dissertation, after listening you will easily see that Roncar is describing the way to become a true Peace Activist. He brings us this understanding at this time because our “Active Peace” will contribute to enhance the intentions of many people and groups throughout the world who have consciously come together to create peace. This is specialty true for the month of July 2007 (14:51)
Why July 2007?
Roncar gives further explanation as to why the establishment of our own peace will be so effective to contributing the world peace at this time.(2:56)
Illness, Illusion and the Metaphysics of Healing:
Since the world is an illusion, isn’t illness just another illusion? Is it possible that a metaphysical master of illusion could make illness disappear much in the same way that a master magician such as Chris Angel appears to make things disappear? The answer covers a lot of territory and explains why healing does or does not take place, and why it differs from individual to individual. (9:33)

Reasons for Incarnation- Part 2:
This is an extension of last weeks lecture. Many feel that we incarnate to perfect ourselves, to balance karmic situations so that we no longer need to incarnate. Roncar maintains that we are already perfect as created. We choose to incarnate to exercise our most divine aspect as a “creator.” This can only happen for us in the physical. When we are in the world of spirit we can see the results of our thoughts, words, and actions that we have had on the physical. Much of our desire to incarnate is to re-experience, or re-work past situations. Sometimes it is to counterbalance conditions we have created before. Roncar compares the journey of life to a vacation in which we did not get to do all of the things we had in mind, so we revisit again and again. In the end it is our own judgment on how we affected the world that determines our satisfaction with an incarnation and the need for additonal incarnations.(12:15)
How do we take the Next Step in Growth of the Soul?
Roncar again affirms that we are already perfect and that the soul does not “grow.” However, to manifest the highest and greatest achievement of our self in the physical world, we must become self-aware of the areas in which we have difficulties. Persistent problems with repetitive themes gives us the clues to the thought patterns and habits of behavior that bring us to the same negative situations over and over again. By our awareness of these patterns we can consciously choose to change our thought and actions to create a more fulfilled and happy life. (5:03)
End of Life and Transition:
This segment could have been broken into several sections. However there is a common thread running through the discussion that deals with the end of life and transition. Can we determine how and when we will leave? (Other than suicide.) Here we explore some of the challenges that are posed to everyone at the end of life as well as the nature of senile dementia and some of the reasons why this debilitating alternate reality can take hold at the end of life. Also discussed are the transitions of highly elevated souls such as Yogananda, who seem to be able to consciously make a peaceful transition to the other side at the appropriate time. You will find this fascinating. (13:43)
The Inner Realm:
We have also inlcuded the Meditation and Affirmation from this session. We have had many requests to include these guided meditations. For those who have attended the Circle this meditation has always been a favorite.

Reasons for Incarnation:
While simply expressed, this lecture is richly textured with many lessons on the nature and purpose of incarnation. Roncar first establishes that the reason we incarnate is to demonstrate our Divine Nature. By recognizing that we both experience and create our world on the mental level, we have tremendous power to shape and change our world. In doing so, we influence, shape and change the world around us. We each have the potential to demonstrate the Divine Self we have come to experience. (20:14)
The Ascended Soul:
A question asked Roncar to explain his view of ascension. Many masters such as Saint Germain often speak of the state of ascension as being the ultimate goal of incarnation. Roncar describes it as the “realization of your highest self as God” and gives several descriptions and examples of how masters still may choose to reincarnate after that state of being has been achieved. Even masters such as Jesus can show the weakness of their “human” side during such an incarnation. However, their lives serve as an example of how we may overcome all challenges to ascend ourselves. Turn-Turn-Turn, The Seasons of Life
In this time of Spring when so many of us are tending to our gardens, Roncar uses the analogy of the different types of plants and flowers that grow through the cycle of the seasons in comparison with the different stages of life. This thought is not new accept that he places particular emphasis on the benefits we have and what we can offer as we grow older. In our youth oriented society, the wisdom of the elders is often overshadowed and not given its proper due. With age, it is natural to step into a position of “teacher” so that we can share our accumulated wisdom with younger generations. The over all message is to be in harmony with the benefits and energies that are available to you at every stage of life. (13:56)
Dance of Shiva: Forest Fires, War, and Regeneration
The Hindus have three aspects of God: Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. Think of them as the Generator, Operator and Destroyer (GOD) respectively. It represents the full cycle of creation. In this discussion we explore the topic of war as part of a natural cycle in the balancing of our societies. Much like a forest must have fire to cleanse the dead wood and undergrowth, nurture the soil and create new growth for the sustained health and balance of the creatures and plants that inhabit that forest, forest fires are an appropriate analogy. When mankind has accumulated enough negative influences that arise from individuals or governing bodies that constrict the growth of other individuals by their misuse of power, these conditions create an accumulation of energies that will be released and cleansed through their destruction. (Karma on a grand scale.) It only takes a spark to ignite dormant conditions ripe for combustion. This is the phenomena we call war. By destroying the old, stale and unbalanced energies that limit the growth of individuals, this cleansing makes way for fresh ideas, concepts and societies that can have a sustained peace until the cycle is repeated again. Made In the Image Of God:
Roncar again emphasizes the importance of recognizing the vast arsenal of talents and abilities we posses to build confidence in the knowledge of our Divine Self. Every day on every level we create by the actions we take, the thoughts we think and even the things that we choose to notice. We are also like God in our ability to know, to contemplate and to bring to focus tremendous amounts of information both from our conscious mind and more potently from the Infinite Mind of God through the gateway of our subconscious. Our intuitive sense combined with our power to act on the information we gather make each of us a powerhouse of creation and manifestation. You are a Divine Creator Made in the Image of God. (19:04)
Direct Communication with the Higher Self:
The subconscious mind is the vehicle through which you communicate with the higher consciousness. Roncar explains how this phenomenon works and offers tips and techniques on how to become more sensitive to this information. (8:29)
Is “Worrying” an Inherited Trait?
I’m sure all of us have some worrywarts in our family? Roncar explains how we are often trained to worry from childhood. This answer also defines the nature of worry as the ability to focus energy. That focus and energy can be trained and redirected to a more positive perception. (5:47)
Quantum Physics and the Substance of God:
This is a very hypothetical and theoretical discussion on the nature of God at the finest levels of substance and consciousness. We also visit the topic of how we have the power to change our past. (4:12)

Don’t Short Change Yourself:
Roncar asks us to pay close attention to the adjectives we use to describe ourselves. Each if us have a very long list of abilities and talents that we often overlook. It is imperative that we get to know our strengths so that we can use them to make to most of our world. Again he affirms that we each have a powerful and profound effect on the earth by our individual moment-to-moment contribution. (12:31)
Have you Ever Planned to be a Slave?
In our review of our life paths it was only natural to review our current society. With this question, Roncar makes an interesting distinction between those who act correctly for the benefit of the society as a whole, and those who are actively working on themselves for spiritual enlightenment.
(7:59)
Challenging Incarnations:
This discussion covers two topics. Roncar explains about the motives, thoughts and immediate afterlife of the Virginia Tech shooter. He also explains that the shooter has set up challenges for the families of his victims. He also touches upon other difficult incarnations such as those with autism and depression. These conditions not only bring challenges to the inflicted but also challenge the judgments we place upon these individuals and their place in society. All challenges eventually result in growth.(12:56)
The Fall of Man:
Was there ever a time when human spirits incarnated with full conscious awareness of the higher self? Apparently, yes. Through this discussion you get a very fascinating glimpse at how the complications surrounding multiple incarnations and the associated bonds of Karma has caused us to forget our true nature. (7:21)
Political Correctness:
This discussion also ties in with the previous answer and last week’s discussion on the spiritual progression of mankind as a whole. While “political correctness” has been inserted into our society as an often hypocritical and laborious attempt to mandate a respect and consideration for just about any group or “ism” imaginable, it does indicate an attempt to operate at a higher level than we have in the past.

Guided Meditation: (10:45) - Affirmation: (5:48)
Many who have attended Circle have requested that we include the opening meditation and affirmation. This week in particular the first two tracks will greatly enhance Roncar’s message.
A Life Journey:
Roncar asks us to discover the reasons we chose this particular incarnation by reviewing the repetitious challenges that surface again and again from childhood on though the adult years. These challenges provide an opportunity to demonstrate our abilities, skill and growth throughout the incarnation. As we overcome our obstacles we create lives that are filled with Peace, Harmony and prosperity and our incarnations are a blessing upon the planet. (10:45)
Are there Greater Numbers of Spiritually Oriented People at this Time?
In our review of our life paths it was only natural to review our current society. With this question, Roncar makes an interesting distinction between those who act correctly for the benefit of the society as a whole, and those who are actively working on themselves for spiritual enlightenment.

The Woodstock Generation and Spirituality?
Was “Woodstock” a turning point in the awareness movement? How has the Woodstock Generation affected the Peace and Harmony on our society and the world? The answer is both Yes and No. (5:23)
Feeling Peculiar Lately?
We recently introduced Whannah, a joy guide for the medium. While her persona is that of a little girl, here enthusiasm and innocence can speak volumes. In this answer to a simple question, she explains that we are all facing the recent astrological aspects of Saturn (or Jupiter?) and Uranus. Saturn will impose the illusion of limitations, while Uranus will provide the energy to transform and create miracles. We just need to keep moving forward with our goals in focus and illuminate the illusion of the obstacles that appear to confront us. (4:20)

Your Global Footprint:
Roncar eloquently reflects on how much we affect everyone in our simple, seemingly uneventful, day-to-day lives. On the surface, the mundane world the “average” person may appear to be irrelevant on the global scale. However, as we are in charge of the world we create for ourselves, the byproduct of the world we create for ourselves directly affects the entire world. This becomes very apparent in a large city such as New York where the vibration you carry can influence literally hundreds on people in day of normal activities and will rapidly ripple thought the rest of the world. In a world where many are concerned about the “Carbon Footprint,” a more immediate and certain way to improve the atmosphere of our world is to become very aware of and responsible for our individual “Peace Profile.” (10:48)
Karma & Getting Lost in the Physical World:
Does anybody ever incarnate to become a Child Molester? An interesting question since there are so many in the world who commit atrocities. Roncar explains that souls only incarnate with the highest of intensions, but sometimes are lost in the trapping of the physical world. He touches upon “Karma” as a balancing of energies and offers some hypothetical examples. (4:58)
Are we Limited by Our Karma?
Are we limited by the Karma we bring with us into an incarnation? The answer is “No.” While we may have the limitations of the physical world around us, it is up to us as to how we perceive our world, what we choose to focus upon and how we judge our surroundings and circumstances. “Karmic” situations are the challenges we have set up for ourselves for growth, development and mastery. (9:09)
The Purpose for Incarnation and the Divine Nature of Man:
A question about the Tibetan “Book of the Dead” led to a dissertation on why we choose to endure an incarnation. In the world of Spirit we can only observe the magnificence of the God’s creation. The reason we incarnate is because it is only in the physical world that we can emulate the single element of divine nature that is most like God. In the physical world, we can experience the act of creation. (7:37)

A Question of Balance: Address Date: 03-27-07
When I first began reviewing this session, I was reminded of the title of the 1970’s Moody Blues’ record, “A Question of Balance.” Actually this segment could also be called “ The Stress of Balance.” Roncar explores the concept of what being “in balance” means to us in our society today. Being in balance is not a question of fulfilling the long list of “shoulds,” but rather the ability to be in Harmony with what “Is” that brings both happiness and balance into our lives. (18:12)
The Mundane World is a Creative Place:
A question was asked about the day-to-day drudgery that some of us face in our daily jobs in light of our more inspired purpose. Roncar’s answer is an illustration of how to view the circumstances of our work and tasks as part of an overall creative process. (7:56)
Happiness is the Active Appreciation of Life:
This very short segment is really an addendum to the last segment. However, the point that Roncar makes is so strong and clear it needed to be isolated into a single track. Happiness is the Active Appreciation of Life. (0:50)
Creating Balance by Recognizing Harmony:
Once again Roncar drives home the point that to be in “balance” is to be harmony with every situation and condition. This question inspired some simple guidelines and mental techniques that will aide your efforts to establish the balance and harmony in your life. (9:28)
Questions about Spirits, Incarnations and Life on the other Side:
Introducing Whannah (Wana).
For those who attend circle, Whannah is a well-known entity. She is the “Joy Guide” of the medium and acts as the “Master of Ceremony.” Everyone loves Whannah because she is always bright and cheerful and she loves to laugh. In her persona as a little Native American Indian girl, she rarely takes on the “heavy” topics. The questions she answers are usually light hearted and fun. Following are several segments that address three questions about incarnation and the spirits around us. How long do our relatives and friends stay around when they pass over? Do we incarnate in Groups? And do we get help from spirits on the other side?

Spring, The Season to Sow:
In Roncar’s ongoing series of lectures about creating the world you desire, the focus changes form the subterranean lessons on perceptions, attitudes and emotions and surfaces into the actions that result in the manifestation and demonstration of your ideas and intentions. Very simply, the spring is the time of sowing. The changes in atmosphere with the increased sunlight, the nurturing rains and the warmth of the fertile earth make conditions ripe for sowing the seeds of thought and action that yield results. He makes it abundantly clear that many more seeds are sown than germinate. Sowing seeds – and lots of them, are a necessary part of the process that inures your success. The message is simply stated but profoundly drives this point home. Happy planting. (16:26)
Changing the Mind of the Subconscious:
This question inspired by "feelings of guilt for no apparent reason," provided an opportunity to explore the understanding of how the subconscious mind links emotions to past programming and events. Roncar also explains a very simple technique on how to re-program the subconscious through the practice of linking positive emotions with specific thoughts. We can replace unwanted negative emotional triggers with positive emotional triggers that work in our favor. (17:50)
